CIKWOD for Wednesday, June 17, 2026 (2 Corinthians 5: New Creation in Christ)

Warm-Up “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Workout AMRAP (complete the following Kingdom exercises as many times as needed throughout the day), applying them to becoming a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5):

• 1. Declare Christ is King — Boldly confess “Jesus Christ is King” aloud. Example: Speak it as a declaration that your old life is gone and you now live under His reign.
• 2. Wear the Full Armor of God — Put on the breastplate of righteousness as a sign of your new identity. Example: When old habits or thoughts resurface, pause and clothe yourself in the righteousness Christ has given you.
• 3. Read Scripture Daily — Read the full chapter here: 2 Corinthians 5. Think about the glorious exchange — old things passed away and all things new in Christ.
• 4. Pray Without Ceasing — Pray this prayer: Father, make me a new creation in Christ today. Let the old things pass away in my life and renew all believers so we walk in this newness of life.
• 5. Live Righteously & Serve — Live as a new creation by reconciling with someone or sharing the message of reconciliation. Example: Reach out to restore a relationship or tell someone about the new life available in Christ.
• 6. Grow the Fruits of Your Faith — Cultivate the fruit of self-control and joy as evidence of your new nature. Example: In a situation where the “old man” would react poorly, respond instead with the new life of patience and peace.
• 7. Examine & Repent — Examine your heart for anything from the old life still lingering. Example: Confess and release any bitterness, fear, or sin that needs to pass away.

Cool-Down & Reflection

• Journal: What did the Lord highlight in 2 Corinthians 5 about being a new creation? How will these exercises shape your day? Note any victories or areas for growth.
• Close with this prayer: Father, I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is King and Lord. Save me, make me a new creation, and help me live for Your glory. Extend this true Gospel salvation to every soul who hears it today.
