CIKWOD for Tuesday, June 16, 2026 (Ephesians 6: The Shield of Faith)

Warm-Up “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”

Workout AMRAP (complete the following Soul Exercises as many times as needed throughout the day), applying them to taking up the shield of faith (Ephesians 6):

• 1. Declare Christ is King — Boldly confess “Jesus Christ is King” aloud. Example: Speak it as a declaration of trust while raising your shield of faith against any attack.
• 2. Wear the Full Armor of God — Put on the shield of faith to extinguish the enemy’s darts. Example: When doubt, fear, or temptation comes today, actively lift the shield by trusting God’s promises.
• 3. Read Scripture Daily — Read the full chapter here: Ephesians 6. Think about how the full armor equips you to stand firm.
• 4. Pray Without Ceasing — Pray this prayer: Father, help me take up the shield of faith today to quench every fiery dart. Strengthen all believers to stand in Your armor and walk victoriously.
• 5. Live Righteously & Serve — Stand firm in faith while serving others. Example: Encourage a fellow believer who is under attack by reminding them of God’s protection.
• 6. Grow the Fruits of Your Faith — Cultivate faithfulness by trusting God amid spiritual battles. Example: In any pressure today, choose to believe God’s Word over the enemy’s lies.
• 7. Examine & Repent — Examine your heart for areas where faith is weak. Example: Confess any unbelief and renew your trust in Christ’s victory.

Cool-Down & Reflection

• Journal: What did the Lord highlight in Ephesians 6 about the shield of faith? How will these Soul Exercises shape your day? Note any victories or areas for growth.
• Close with this prayer: Father, I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is King and Lord. Save me, make me a new creation, and help me live for Your glory. Extend this true Gospel salvation to every soul who hears it today.
