(Philippians 4: God’s Provision and Contentment in Christ)

Warm-Up “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Workout AMRAP (complete the following Soul Exercises as many times as needed throughout the day), applying them to God’s provision and contentment in Christ (Philippians 4):

• 1. Declare Christ is King — Boldly confess “Jesus Christ is King” aloud. Example: Speak it over any need or worry you are carrying today.
• 2. Wear the Full Armor of God — Put on the shield of faith to trust God’s supply. Example: When anxiety about provision arises, raise the shield of faith in His glorious riches.
• 3. Read Scripture Daily — Read the full chapter here: Philippians 4. Think about Paul’s secret of contentment in every situation through Christ.
• 4. Pray Without Ceasing — Pray this prayer: Father, supply every need I have today according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Meet the needs of all believers and teach us true contentment in Him.
• 5. Live Righteously & Serve — Generously share what God has provided with someone else. Example: Give time, encouragement, or resources to a person in need without expecting return.
• 6. Grow the Fruits of Your Faith — Cultivate joy and peace by rejoicing in the Lord always. Example: In any lack or abundance today, choose to rejoice and let God’s peace guard your heart.
• 7. Examine & Repent — Examine your heart for discontentment or worry. Example: Confess any anxiety about needs and realign your trust fully in Christ’s provision.

Cool-Down & Reflection

• Journal: What did the Lord highlight in Philippians 4 about contentment and God’s provision? How will these Soul Exercises shape your Friday? Note any victories or areas for growth.
• Close with this prayer: Father, I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is King and Lord. Save me, make me a new creation, and help me live for Your glory. Extend this true Gospel salvation to every soul who hears it today.
